- Nail file and buffer
Step-by-Step Tutorial
1. Nail Preparation
* Remove any existing nail polish and gently push back cuticles. * File and shape your natural nails. * Roughen the surface of your natural nails with a buffer to create better adhesion.
2. Apply Nail Tips or Forms
* If using nail tips, glue them to the tips of your natural nails. * If using forms, place them underneath your natural nails to create the desired length and shape.
3. Mix the Acrylic Powder and Liquid
* In a small dish, combine a small amount of acrylic liquid and powder. * Mix thoroughly until you achieve a consistency similar to dough.
4. Apply the Acrylic Mixture
* Use a nail brush to apply a small amount of the acrylic mixture to the cuticle area. * Slowly work your way down, shaping the nail as you go. * Use a file and buffer to smooth and refine the shape.
5. Cure the Acrylic
* Allow the acrylic to air-dry for a few minutes. * If desired, use a nail lamp to speed up the curing process.
6. Finishing Touches
* File and shape the acrylic nails to your desired length and style. * Buff the surface for a smooth finish. * Apply a top coat to protect your nails and enhance shine.
